Just because you know what’s good for you doesn’t necessarily mean you do it.

I started wondering about how to help clients understand and overcome the forces that stand in the way of following through with their health intentions in my previous work as a dietitian.

I received my education and training as a registered dietitian in Switzerland the country where I was born and raised. The quest to learn how to facilitate positive change led me to complete my master degree in mental health counseling at Cambridge College in Massachusetts.

My work as a psychotherapist wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t address the fundamentals of health such as nutrition, sleep and movement and its interplay with mental health.

I am endlessly curious about the impact of mental health on physical health and vice versa.

I offer the perspective of someone who has lived, studied, and worked in two different countries, and who has served people from diverse backgrounds in various settings including inpatient, residential and outpatient care.

Before venturing into private practice end of 2022, I served people with a wide spectrum of clinical presentations in community behavioral health centers.

Witnessing and supporting people in their most vulnerable moments when they are in acute crisis and struggle with basic functioning has been a rich foundational experience acquired in my prior position at a residential eating disorder treatment center.
